Double Door & Oversized Entrance Mats
Double doors, French doors, patio sliders, and wide porch entrances all share the same problem: stock doormats are too small. Two mats butted together drift apart and look improvised; one undersized mat leaves half the doorway unprotected. We cut a single continuous coco coir mat to your exact width — up to 33 feet — so the whole entrance is covered with one clean piece.
Sizing an oversized entrance mat
- Width (side to side): cover the full door opening plus a few inches on each side. A standard double door is about 6 ft wide — a 6 ft 6″ or 7 ft mat frames it nicely. We cut up to 33 ft wide.
- Length (front to back): deep enough for at least two full steps — 24″ minimum, 30–36″ better for an entrance people walk through rather than pause at. We cut up to 6 ft deep.
- Thickness: check your door swing. Measure the gap under the open door and choose a thickness below it — five options from 1/2″ to 1 1/4″. Our measuring guide walks through it.

Will a long mat ship rolled?
Yes — coir mats ship rolled. Unroll the mat and let it relax flat for a day; it will settle within its first day or two in place.
